EP Submitted!
We found out today that Kai's paperwork has finally been submitted to the Korean Ministry for his emigration permission and passport. We are very excited because this is the step that marks the beginning of our home stretch. It could take up to six weeks for EP approval, and then up to four more for his paperwork to make its way to the Embassy for his visa interview, which is the last step before we can receive our travel call. So from here we're looking at 4-10 weeks until we travel. It might seem like we're still just doing a whole lot of waiting. And yes, that's true. But to us, it's wonderfully different now. Because before EP submittal, we were waiting while nothing was happening with Kai's file. But now, we are waiting while something is happening with his file. And waiting for something is much better than waiting for nothing, so we are THRILLED!!!
