Trains

Kai's latest favorite thing is trains -- my Dad would be proud!  Playing with his trains is the first thing he wants to do each morning, and he gets out of bed talking about his "choo choos".  Our friends gave us a great wooden train set that he absolutely loves.  And we love it, too, because it's made of wood not plastic, it doesn't make any noise (except for the "choo choo!" and "wee!" sounds that come out of Kai's mouth), it stimulates his imagination, and it's fun for Mom & Dad, too!  He knows how to put the pieces of track together, but we help him connect them into a closed layout, and we help him with the fancier setups.  The elevated designs are fun to build and look at, but don't last long because Kai usually knocks them down within a few minutes.  We think this is a great starter train set and can't wait to one day move on to electric trains!
