Extra Long Weekend

Our three-day weekend (because of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday) became a four-day weekend because icy streets caused the schools to close on Tuesday.  I took a personal day and stayed home with Kai.  He's going through a bit of anxious attachment right now, and is also getting over a little bit of a bug. So I saw a lot of this:   

He was super clingy all day long!!  We played with blocks, puzzles, watched Sesame Street and made chocolate chip cookies.  I wish I could stay home with Kai every day!
