Santa

Happy Holidays!  Kai visited with The Clauses a couple of weekends ago to tell Santa about how well he's been behaving and to tell him what's on his Christmas List.  We waited in line for a long time and when it was finally Kai's turn to sit on Santa's lap, he got a little shy.  But once he realized that the red bucket next to Santa was filled with candy canes, he decided to give it a try.  Santa did most of the talking, but Kai did mention the word "Thomas" and was amazed when Santa responded with "Thomas the Tank Engine?"  Santa was of course just making sure he new exactly what Kai was asking for so he could tell the elves to get to work.  Now we just have to remind Kai to be a good boy so he'll get to see what Santa brings!
